The activities of Solidarity and Hope Foundation – Săvineşti branch are manifold and are carried out over a full year.

”ANGEL WINGS” CREATIVE CAMP is a project that has reached its 8thedition (the first edition was in 2005.) In 2012 it took place from 17thto 26thAugust and was attended by 200 children, including a group of young people from Christliche Verein Junger Menschen from Germany and Hong Kong, who were offered free accommodation and meals during the camp. The 2013 edition of the ”Angel Wings” creative camp will host children from Moldova, Germany, China (Hong Kong.) From Romania, more than 200 children are expected to participate.
”Angel Wings” camp aims to develop artistic skills of children as well as relational skills among them.See photos from the campaign

„BE SANTA TO A CHILD” (CHRISTMAS CART) is a project carried out in partnership with Cosmos supermarkets and the humanitarian association ”Ursula Honeck” from Piatra Neamt, during the Christmas period. The project aimed at gathering sweets and food for the children in need from Săvineşti.

”THE DISCIPLES OF ST. NICHOLAS” is a project performed in partnership with the humanitarian associations ”Ursula Honeck” from Piatra Neamt and „Hilfe fuer Osteuropa Todtnau-Seelscheid eV” from Germany for needy children in village Săvineşti at Christmas time. The children received gifts at St. Nicholas which consisted of clothing, footwear, personal hygiene products, candy and toys.

„POOR CHILDREN WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL, TOO” is a project that gathered clothing, hygiene products, school supplies for poor children. The beneficiaries of this project were 72 children from 30 families in need, aged 3 to19, who attend schools from Săvineşti community.

’’TOPLIŢA – BĂLAN – MIERCUREA CIUC’’–through this project humanitarian aid was gathered and distributed to 110 needy children from ”Miron Cristea” kindergarten- Moglăneşti – Topliţa Structureand to 116 needy children from ” Edelweiss” kindergarten of Balan – Miercurea Ciuc. Clothing, footwear, toys, cleaning and personal hygiene products as well as sweets and food were distributed. The humanitarian associations ”Ursula Honeck” from Piatra Neamt and „Hilfefuer Osteuropa Todtnau-Seelscheid eV” from Germany also donated €1,000 to the Orthodox Diocese of Covasna and Harghita, with residence Miercurea Ciuc, for food expenditures to support needy children in the ward.
